Wealth Consciousness... Learning to be a clear channel for money amidst unexpected bills

Wealth Consciousness

Wealth Consciousness... You know when something unexpected happens that costs you money, and you have that feeling of... oh mannn? I have less now. {The obvious logical thought...}

Well today, I had to go to an airport 45 min away from the airport I was in, because of an aircraft mechanic strike. The guy who drove me... well turns out to not be so honest, as he charged me $265 to get to the 2nd airport, and I was in such a hustle to catch my flight, it didnt really hit me until I left him.

A part of me felt like... fuck, I am so stoked on saving money right now, and that's just out the window.

But then something else kicked in. Well, 2 other things:

1) Kali-Ma, the Hindu Goddess of creation + destruction, had visit me. Asking me... in order to attract all the things you need and desire... you need to let go of them. Can I let go of my grip on money? My attachment to it's physical presence? If I can be released and let it go, I become a clear channel, which infinite abundance can flow through.

2) Thank you money. Guess what? I had the money to pay for the cab, the money was right there, ready to support me. And if I think about it, money is ALWAYS right there, ready to support me... I can buy food, pay rent, buy clothes, nice wine, gifts for friends. Imagine Im in a relationship with money (which I am...) -- and I said.. 'Fuck! Money you are not enough!' when in reality, money is always here for me, there when I need it. I must treat money with respect, and thank it for supporting me. Thank you money!

Next time you have an unexpected bill come up, but you DO actually have the money to pay it... can you try thanking money? "Ah, thank you for being here for me!" ---- This energetically, will create a much healthier relationship with money {it's energy too! and it will feel supported and loved by you... making you a good home for it... you see?} --- and in turn, you'll actually see a lot more money come your way.

So you see.. that $265 is not a loss, it's a lesson, it's a flow. Money comes and goes. But I can release it, without attachment, as Kali Ma teaches me, and thank it, for being here for me, constantly supporting me.

And so, it is in this way, that I can expand to ever increasing levels of prosperity --- by being a grateful, clear conduit for wealth.

How I Opened to Making Money From Spiritually-Based Work

Money used to be the stickiest part of my life.

For many years, I would constantly walk around with low-grade anxiety around money, which tied into my safety and security. As an entrepreneur, I didn’t have a paycheque, and I mostly just went month to month, winging it, often unsure of where my rent would come from. Sometimes rent would be due in just a couple days, and I didn’t have more than $150 in my bank account. I remember a time where I had to forage for blackberries because I literally didn’t have money for any fresh food. Another time {there were a couple of these…} I felt like I couldn't afford toilet paper, so I used leaves from my backyard. For weeks.

So yes… to say that I didn’t always have a good relationship with money would be an understatement.

The last time I was using leaves as toilet paper was just a couple of years ago. Today I write this from a medieval home in the South of France, having been traveling through California, Spain, Greece, Egypt, and Israel for the last 4 months. It’s safe to say that now, I can definitely afford toilet paper.

I had to go through a lot of perspective shifts to get here. And I’m very much STILL going through perspective shifts as I continue to expand into the vibration of abundance, that was mine all along.

Today I wanted to share 5 key switches I had to make, in order to leave the victim mentality around money, and get into a more high-vibrational state with abundance, which allowed me to create a solid income doing the spiritual work I love.

1. The AHA of Wealth Consciousness

Most of the world is stuck in poverty consciousness. I once had this sort of consciousness explained to me this way - it’s the energy of when you get to a restaurant and look at the menu, your eyes instantly look for the cheapest thing on the menu. Our world has primed us for poverty consciousness. We’ve been raised on it. I’m 27 - so that means when I do wealth consciousness work - that is meditations, affirmations, healings, and journalling around changing my beliefs around money + wealth - I’m counteracting 27 years of negative conditioning around money. My big AHA was that 10 minutes of affirmations a week, was not enough to counteract that amount of conditioning. If I was serious about changing my story, I needed to commit to HOURS a week, of working with the wealth consciousness.

2. Valuing my work

I used to see what I offered as a luxury that wasn’t all that necessary in a person’s life. Although, if I’m being honest, a part of me still does see it this way - I understand now that the energy of the Divine Feminine that infuses everything I do, is IMPERATIVE for the transformation of our world. The energy of what I offer, is directly related to animals being respected, the earth being taken care of, peace being in people’s hearts, and for union and balance on this planet. In other words - it’s a big fucking deal. When I value my work, other people value it too. When I stand in it’s importance, I can magnetize paying clients to me who also see it’s importance.

3. Identifying key beliefs that were holding me back

This is a part of wealth consciousness. One of the first pesky beliefs I found when I started getting serious about this work, was that “Creative, artsy people don’t make good money. It’s not a real career. Traditional masculine roles like doctors, lawyers, and engineers make money.” I had to do some clearing work around this belief. Now I know that creative, intuitive people like me, can make some serious coin. I’m watching my colleagues make anywhere from 5k - 150k a month. From spiritual work. It’s real, it’s available, money is everywhere.

4. Releasing the idea that money is wrong, especially when tied to spirituality

This leads me into the next point. How many of you got uncomfortable when I started talking about how much myself and other sisters are making a month for spiritual work? Even I got a bit uncomfortable! This means I have more work to do… When we see money as evil, wrong, or connected to the ego and only the ego, we push it away. But money is simply an aspect of the abundant field of consciousness we all truly live in. It’s our birthright to have more than enough! We are truly abundant beings, and though money for me is never the number one goal at the end of the day, opening up to the truth of my abundance on all levels, certainly is. When I live a good, prosperous life, I resonate in a way that - just through vibration, I can change the world.

5. Celebrating the abundance I see everywhere

How many leaves are on just ONE tree? How many droplets of rain fall from the sky during ONE storm? WOW! The world is FULL of abundance we can’t even comprehend. As I go around my day appreciating the beauty I see all around me, I’m tapping into that abundant stream of consciousness that is my truth. And as I do that, money is magnetized to me. It just happens. Everyday, I allow myself to feel true wealth in all sorts of ways - the deliciousness of the french toast I just ate, the beauty of hand-crafted artisanal creations from the South of France, the incredible colour of the autumn leaves, etc etc.

There’s so much more I could share about transforming our old beliefs to new empowering ones around money and abundance. If you’d like to go deeper on this, and receive free training around wealth consciousness - please sign up below for my free series Creating an Abundant Business as a Priestess:

The #1 Key for Creating Abundance as a Priestess

In the first 3 or 4 years of running my business, I struggled to make ends meet.

Yes, I was full-time with my work, and yes, I was absolutely loving what I was doing - but I felt this low-grade anxiety moving through my system about money all - the - time.

There were many, many times, where I didn't know how I would make my rent that month. There was also a time I remember when I needed to forage for berries just to eat fruit, because I literally had $0 in my bank account. (And I fucking love my fruit so I guess foraging for blackberries ain't so bad, BUT, it would have been nice to forage WHILE having money in the bank to eat, am I right?)

Fast forward to 2 years later, and here I am - at a café in Greece eating a veggie burger, writing this letter to you, and looking forward to my flight to Egypt on Monday. I have an amazing hotel room with an awe-inspiring view here in Delphi... not the cheapest hostel bed I could find. I haven't had to touch my savings on this trip, because my monthly payments from my clients cover all of my expenses while traveling. I work on the road, and I feel deeply purposeful with what I do. It totally lights me up, beyond words are able to describe.

So... What the fuck changed?

What changed was my understanding of how abundance comes to us, and undertaking a commitment to follow through on that new understanding, in my daily life. And I want to share this powerful shift in understanding today, with you.

In this new video, I describe exactly how I create abundance in my life now. Watch it below + let's deepen into this journey of claiming abundance so we can actually do what the fuck we want to do in life... Shall we?

In the video, I also invite you to dive deeper into this topic with me, in a free 3 day course called Creating Abundance as a Priestess.

In this 3 day deep dive, we work with the Great Mother as the Source of our abundance, re-progam our sub-conscious energy around money, and I show you how to download divinely-inspired ideas that will resonate with your soul path, while bringing you abundance.

10 Tips for Sharing Your Vulnerable Stories Online

My heart was feeling a bit woozy. My mind was doubting whether I was doing the right thing, or if this time, it was simply “too much”.

I was just about to press “post” on a very vulnerable and real story for me… one that had only happened a couple of weeks ago. Usually when I post my stories, I’m confident and know I’m doing the right thing. This time, I think the pain was so fresh, and the subject matter so personal, that I had a moment of doubt.

But then my intuition came in and said “Get over it girl, you know this is well-meaning” and I hit ‘Post’!

I had just written a story of a recent heartbreak in Mexico, and I didn’t spare the details. (Well maybe I spared the super sexy details, but that’s besides the point haha)

I shared that story because I had some really big AHA moments that had come from that experience, that I knew could honestly benefit a lot of people. Not only that, but writing is a form of cathartic release for me, and this story was simply bubbling up in me to be told.

Over the next few days, hundreds of comments and messages poured in from women (and some men!) all over the world, that had real moments of awakening upon reading that post. Some women shared they cried, or said that they’d rarely experienced a piece of writing that “got to them” so deeply. I was really moved by those comments. I felt the camaraderie with my sisters, with my tribe, with the collective wounds around the Sacred Masculine - and I felt a deep understanding that sharing my stories is truly a beautiful thing.

The night I posted that story, I had a hit that I wanted to share some tips on how to share vulnerably online. Whether you’re a closeted writer that longs to communicate and express yourself, or a healer who yearns to awaken others through your own stories, there’s lots of reasons to express yourself vulnerably online. One of them also being that in this shiny perfect Instagram obsessed world… realness is hard to come by. Yet that kind of raw authenticity is exactly what’s going to heal this planet, because it brings us a sense of togetherness and tribe that nothing but honesty + authenticity can bring to the table.

So if you want to join me on this mission of authentic sharing, here are my top 10 tips for doing so!

1.  Share what feels real & present.

Speak about what feels pertinent and potent in the moment. Don’t go back to an experience you had that no longer brings up any feeling in you, and share that story. We want to FEEL you, we want to go on a JOURNEY with you. So come from a place of feeling. Ask yourself… “What’s real to me right now? What’s present for me? What’s on my heart?” —- And allow yourself to get into that place, and channel the messages that are coming from there.

You’ll know if you hit the sweet spot, if you are moved or have a reaction to what you write, when you go back to read it.

2. Get personal

Sharing vulnerably online is not for the faint of heart. But if you're reading this, you are probably the kind of person that is ready for the plunge.

So I ask.. get personal, and specific. I've read a lot of stories online when the person alludes they're about to get really real.. but then they brush over the actual content of the story that riled them up. For example, they say something like “And then this experience with a lover happened that made me feel ‘less than’ ”, and they move on from there and share their lessons, with little content in the actual story that triggered those lessons.

GIRL, {or BOY… if that’s the case} —- I WANT TO KNOW THE DIRT. Now again, this kind of sharing is NOT for everyone. But if I’m going to relate to you, and if you’re going to really awaken some stuff in me... please be transparent. What happened? Share the specifics of your story. I might have been there too. I might BE there. But I don't know, if you get all general and scared to dish the truth.

Bring us through your story like a fiction book, set the scene, the way it made you feel, the colour of the sky when you walked out of the house... whatever details you feel inspired by. Weave the web. Make us feel like we’re there with you. Get us, the readers, INVOLVED.

Please, of course WITH REGARD for those involved. Do not use names, and if in your story it is obvious who you are talking about, even if no names were used, please get the permission of that person first, before you press send.

3) Own your story first, teach later.

A post that comes from a place of first person storytelling is much more likely to resonate with your audience, than a vanilla statement of what you learned.

For example, let’s go back to my story about heartbreak. I learned a lot about my connection with the Sacred Masculine.

But what if I instead of sharing that personal story (see number 2) — I simply wrote my lessons, with no backstory of where they came from.

“Girls, it’s so important to honour your inner masculine! Go within and feel into how you are honouring your inner masculine. Do you let him out, or no?

If you don’t honour your inner masculine, you may magnetize experiences with men that hurt or make you feel like you can’t trust them. ”

Is that message true? Yes… but it doesn’t hit me. I don’t feel from it. If the goal is to really resonate with your tribe, and to touch people and affect change, your personal stories are probably the way to go.

Now, to be real, I totally post quick notes and lessons, quotes, and things like that… but if I’m really looking to create a post that’s going to go deeper with people and stir the pot, again - stories are my go-to.

4) Keep it empowered

Sharing our stories is not about us having a pity-party online… I think you get that. We’re not sharing our stories to garner attention, validation, or to use our online tribe as our counsellor.

That’s what our journals are for.

If you’re in the thick of a challenging experience, and haven’t found the lesson, I would suggest continuing to journey through that experience until you can find something empowering and uplifting about it, to include in your message.

Now sometimes you might be having a rough time, have not learned the lesson yet, but still want to share it, to be transparent with your audience. I get that. The empowering message within this simply might be… “I hurt too, and this is my truth right now.”

You’ll be able to tell what the vibe of the post is by how you feel when you read it.

However, I find it really fun to share experiences where I learned a lesson and I can articulate that lesson afterwards, towards the end of the post. Kind of like taking your reader on a heroines journey, and have them go through the challenges and come out the other side with some gold, even if that gold is simply more self-love, and or a shifted perspective.

Bottom line: Leave your readers with a sense of empowerment, rather than having them confused about what your actual point is.

5) Honour that some people just won’t get it

The online world is a crazy place. You’ve got to be prepared for feedback of all kinds. Most of the comments and messages I get from my stories are really powerful, positive, and introspective on the readers part. Often our stories spark meaningful dialogue that feels really good to be a part of.

But inevitably, there’s going to be some people who just don’t get it. Maybe your story sparked their ego, because it reminds them of themselves, and they’re not ready to face those demons yet.

Maybe they misunderstood your post, and think you’re saying something you’re not.

Maybe they’re just a big meanie. I don’t know. But sometimes you’re going to get comments that aren’t so nice.

Honour that, as a part of your journey to sovereignty, and as help in letting go of giving a fuck what people think.

Personally when I get negative comments, I still get upset, even if it’s just for 20 seconds. Again, this is a great opportunity for me to see where I’m still looking for validation from other people.

My advice? Don’t feed the fire. Ignore the haters. HATAS GONNA HATE. Just keep spreading the love, and shift your focus to how awesome you are, and how great your heart is.

6) Share a raw photo

I’ve seen some really beautiful and heartfelt sharings, accompanied by generic photos, or of paintings that are not by the writer. This creates a bit of separation, between the personal, vulnerable nature of your post, and the first impression people get of it - the picture!
I’d recommend a raw / real photo of yourself, or of something connected to the story to accompany your posts. I love high quality pictures - as in, photos with good resolution - however if that’s not available to you, that’s fine.

Keep in mind people are going to be reading YOUR words, so if you have a photo with your eyes, embodying an emotion that relates to the story, that’s going to connect with people more deeply. We’re hardwired for connection through eye contact! This picture is going to draw people in to read your story.

7) Keep some things for yourself

This is probably obvious, but you don’t need to share every single one of your vulnerable stories online. Keep what feels private, or even unhealed, to yourself or your close friends or family.

8) Share it!

You just poured a bit of your soul into a piece of writing, with the intention to serve both yourself, and your tribe. So honour that delicious effort you just went through, and make sure to share that story where your target audience can see it!

I don’t just share my stories on my FB page and Instagram, I also post them on my blog, send them out to my email list AND I post them to different FB groups I’m apart of, who I feel would resonate or be served by the message.

This may push you past your comfort zone..but ahhh fuck it. That’s where all the juice lives anyhow.

9) Don’t censor yourself

Notice how I just dropped an f-bomb? Yeah.. that’s because that’s how I speak, and that’s what just came through naturally. (My Mom hates it however, but guess what, she can share her own stories her way! Teehee. Love you Mom! ;))

Remember - this isn’t English class. You get to speak however you want to speak. If you want to swear, use slang, include smileys, make breaks in your writing, tell jokes —- have at ‘er! Show your personality! It’s all you baby!

And remember, the spirit of sharing your vulnerability is just that —- getting real, raw, and uncensored. Claim your truth! And if people get offended, refer to number 5.

10) Honour your intuition above all

And of course, last but not least, throw any of my tips out the window if your intuition tells you something different. Your inner guidance trumps all!

Lastly, I wanted to mention some reasons why you might benefit from sharing your stories online:

  • You'll be creating authentic connections, both on and offline
  • You'll be serving people, and helping other people who might need to feel like they're not alone
  • You'll attract clients to you, you can really help, if you're an entrepreneur who offers your healing gifts out into the world - they'll be able to know you, and trust you, because you're showing up in a very real way. People work with those who they trust and feel safe with. You'll also have shown that you've gone through what they might be going through, and have wisdom to share with them.
  • You'll feel the inspired movement of energy & creativity flow through your being as you share what's real

So there you have it folks, 10 tips for getting vulnerable online. I hope this served you!
xo Beth

Don't have tons of money, or the perfect man? Here's why that's perfectly OK...

I've got to be real with you....

I'm a little bit tired of going on to someone's website, blog posts, etc --- and then seeing them say: "I have lots of money, the perfect partner, and all the material things I wished for! I'm living the life of my dreams --- Let me show you how!"

Patriarchy is just washed all over that.

Listen sister...

This path is challenging. Earth life is challenging.

Sometimes we don't get what we want, sometimes our soul wants us to stay single to truly and deeply learn and grow.... sometimes the money doesn't show up, or we are re-routed to a better option that will simply take more time. Sometimes our path of learning takes longer than someone else's. Sometimes we are doing deep work for the collective, and we need to look a certain things, and feel our pain. Sometimes we have past life issues that we are working with, which others don't.

If you are not running a successful business, don't have tons of money, don't have the perfect partnership...

There is nothing wrong with you.

Your soul knows what it's doing.

At the end of the day self-love is what really matters.
How you feel about YOU really matters.
Your connection to the Divine + to the Earth really matters.

There is nothing wrong with wanting beautiful things and beautiful relationships in your life... but I can't help but feel that many use the outside appearance of their successes for personal gain... without telling the whole story.

I encourage myself, and the rest of us... to let go of the comparing mind and realize that most of these fancy stories are simply marketing ploys to make you want to work with someone, and spend money with them.

I can tell you this because I use to do the same thing.

I remember sitting at the computer a few years ago, thinking how I could spin my life to make it sound REALLY AMAZING.. so I could build enough credibility to do what I wanted to do... coach and teach. Sure there were lots of awesome things going on in my life... but at that time I was dealing with a bit of depression.

Me trying to spin my life in a picture perfect way...  didn't last long. My soul knew better. Ups and downs are a part of the journey. Everything is temporary. Including the man. Including the money. We all die. All things release. It is the way of things.

Just a reminder... you are whole. You are perfect as you are. Your journey is unique. You are right where you need to be.
